WVH Design is a landscape architecture studio working with residential and corporate clients to create spaces of purpose and beauty with environmental sensitivity.

We design for spaces that range from compact to vast, courtyards and urban gardens to estates and corporate green spaces.

Our practice uses existing natural features, architectural identity, and our deep connection with nature as guiding principles. WVH Design works closely with each client to understand existing site patterns. We undertake projects that realize the connection of function and natural beauty.

Our Design Approach

Our process involves site observations, sketches, drawings, and diagrams that guide project development. We handle all aspects of landscape design, construction details, and site planning.

Consultation

Conversation with clients about their goals and the possibilities for each site is an essential part of our practice.

Design

  • Site analysis and evaluation.
  • Conceptual design and preliminary layout plans.
  • Master planning for larger residential or estate-scale projects. Phased implementation strategies for long-range or budget-sensitive projects.
  • Site renderings for presentation and visualization.
  • Construction documentation which can include hardscape, planting, lighting, grading, drainage, site furnishings, and water features. Coordination with consultants such as arborists, and engineers.

Construction management

We are available to coordinate with your contractor to see the design through as intended.

Post-occupancy walk-throughs and guidance for long-term maintenance.

We have a love for landscape design and bring many years of experience to every project. We are a newly independent studio, having practiced for twenty years with distinguished offices in California. Licensed California Landscape Architect and Certified Green Roof Professional.
